Dinner Salon with Thomas Mallon

June 26, 2019 | All Day

Washington, DC

We will gather at 6:00 p.m. on June 26, 2019, at the Metropolitan Club in Washington, DC, 1700 H Street, NW, for cocktails, followed by dinner.

Long-time ACTA friend Thomas Mallon is the author of ten historical novels, including his recently completed trilogy: Watergate (2012), Finale: A Novel of the Reagan Years (2015), and Landfall (2019), which earned a glowing front-page review in the New York Times Book Review. His work has appeared in many other leading journals and newspapers, including The New Yorker, the Atlantic, the American Scholar, and the National Review. A brilliant speaker and interlocutor, Tom will lead an engaging conversation, ranging from his own novels to the history of our times and the challenges facing teachers and writers on the contemporary college campus.

If you can join us, please RSVP by June 19 to Leslie Deshaies at LDeshaies@GoACTA.org or 202-467-6787. I hope to see you soon!
