Public Universities Grapple with Money, Technology and Mission

Appearing on the PBS Newshour following the governing board kerfuffle at the University of Virginia, ACTA president Anne Neal called this time “a defining moment for public higher education.” Citing skyrocketing tuition costs and evidence of minimal learning gains by American college graduates, Ms. Neal advocated that “we have got to start looking at different ways of doing what we're doing” in higher education.
