  • Connor Murnane, Program Officer for Communications

As Program Officer for Communications, Connor works closely with the Vice President of Communications & Develiopment to foster engagement on social media and with key media contacts. Prior to joining ACTA, Connor held a number of roles from teacher to heavy equipment operator at Home Depot. He attained his M.A. in Political Communications from American University in 2019—writing his thesis on the rhetoric of early American newspapers—and a B.A. in history from Ashland University in 2017, where he graduated as an Ashbrook Scholar. While Connor has particularly strong interests in Political Rhetoric, American Political Thought, and Political Campaigns, his true passions lie in tabletop role-playing games, tea, and the great books.
