Program Associate for Fund for Academic Renewal (FAR)
Emily Burden Rees serves as the Program Associate for the Fund for Academic Renewal. She assists the Program Manager and FAR Director in helping higher education donors design, monitor, and evaluate transformative philanthropy. She supports the department with research and communications, managing FAR’s social media and digital presence, and producing The College Donor Quarterly. Emily understands the crucial role of supporting education in a democracy after living in six states and four countries. Before coming to ACTA, Emily graduated from Brigham Young University in flute performance and interned at ACTA under the Koch Internship Program. Outside of work, she spends her time as wife, Christian, traveler, longboarder, artist, Finnish-speaker, reader, and flutist.
