Emily Burden Rees

Program Manager of the Fund for Academic Renewal (FAR) and Strategic Partnerships

Emily Burden Rees is the Program Manager of the Fund for Academic Renewal (FAR) and Strategic Partnerships. She works with FAR’s Director to help higher education donors craft gifts with enduring impact and supports the department with research and communications, management of FAR’s social media and digital presence, and writing The College Donor Quarterly. Emily manages strategic partnerships by partnering with allied organizations, communicating ACTA accomplishments to key audiences, and leading strategy, planning, coordination and management of external-facing events. She is a Brigham Young University 2020 graduate, a classically trained flutist, a member of the Washington DC Temple Orchestra, and owner of a private flute studio. Emily lives in Northern Virginia with her husband.
