  • Kara Brounstein, Program Officer for Trustee Affairs

    As Program Officer for Trustee Affairs, Kara Brounstein works closely with the Vice President of Trustee & Legislative Affairs to assist with research, trustee communications and outreach, and production support for trustee publications. Prior to joining ACTA, Ms. Brounstein worked at Education Week’s research center conducting research on education policy. She graduated from Colgate University in 2014 with a BA in English and a minor in Educational Studies, and was lucky enough to spend a semester studying literature in London. In her free time, Kara can be found reading, running in Rock Creek Park, or attending a variety of DC sporting events.
