Laura Fewer

Program Officer for Development

As Program Officer for Development, Laura works closely with the Vice President of Development in providing written communication to donors and supporting ACTA’s development effort to achieve annual giving campaign goals. Laura grew up in Long Island, New York. She graduated from the State University of New York College at Oswego studying TESOL and Linguistics, and is finishing her Master’s degree in Humanitarianism, Conflict, and Development from the University of Bath. Prior to working at ACTA, Laura taught English to speakers of other languages in New York public schools. When not at work, Laura is passionate about dance and choreography and loves to go to local dog parks with her Siberian Husky.
