ACTA is an independent, non-profit organization committed to academic freedom, excellence, and accountability at America's colleges and universities.
Marina Herrera serves as the Program Associate for Development, working closely with both the Associate Director of Development and the Vice President of Development and Strategic Partnerships to assist with donor research, mailings, correspondence and outreach. Marina is a graduate of the University of New Mexico, where she earned her BA in English Studies. Prior to joining ACTA, Marina worked as a nurse in geriatric and Alzheimer’s/dementia care and served as Chairwoman of the New Mexico College Republicans. Marina spends her free time volunteering with a local animal rescue and buying endless amounts of toys for her standard poodle, Tieso.
