Mike Deshaies is Vice President of Development & Strategic Partnerships. He joined ACTA in October 2017 after ten years with the Jack Miller Center for Teaching America’s Founding Principles and History, where he led the Center’s development and communications programs. Mr. Deshaies leads ACTA’s development team, focusing on advancing ACTA’s core message on issues of academic freedom, academic excellence, and accountability in higher education, and expanding ACTA’s circle of donors passionate about reforming colleges and universities. Before moving into the nonprofit sector, Mr. Deshaies held senior level positions in corporate communications with companies in the telecommunications space.
