ACTA Writes in Cincinnati Enquirer on Donors’ Duty to Protect Free Speech

ACTA President Michael Poliakoff and philanthropist John Altman co-authored an op-ed piece published by the Cincinnati Enquirer that outlines how higher education donors can promote free speech on campus.

The roadmap is that of Mr. Altman, who gave $1 million to Miami University of Ohio, contingent upon the University adopting the Chicago Statement on Free expression—a statement that has become a gold standard for an institutional commitment to academic freedom.
