Mitch Daniels, president of Purdue University, is the 2018 recipient of ACTA’s Philip Merrill Award for defending free expression and setting a national example in higher education leadership. ACTA also released a new essay by Professor Joyce Lee Malcolm offering solutions to the growing crisis of campus censorship. Board Chair Robert Lewit was honored by The Heritage Foundation, and trustee Delores Brisbon is featured for her decades of distinguished service. ACTA also thanks retiring board member Carl Menges and share highlights from ACTA’s spring outreach and campus events.
