Pano Kanelos was honored as the 2025 Hero of Intellectual Freedom during ACTA’s 30th Anniversary ATHENA Roundtable at Mount Vernon. New findings from the Campus Freedom Initiative™ report card on six Virginia universities revealed pervasive self-censorship and limited viewpoint diversity. ACTA also recognized the University of Michigan Board of Regents with the Jerry L. Martin Prize for their leadership in upholding free speech and academic integrity.
