Today, the Committee on Postsecondary Education of the Oklahoma House of Representatives considered legislation, House Bill 3129, which would strengthen free speech protections on public college and university campuses by mandating that all security fees must be levied in a content-neutral manner. Steven McGuire, ACTA’s Paul & Karen Levy Fellow in Campus Freedom, submitted written testimony. HB 3129 was reported favorably out of committee by a vote of 7-1.
