Big Ten Conference Trustees Discuss Governance Implications of Proposed $2.4B Private Equity Deal

On November 14, the American Council of Trustees (ACTA) hosted a discussion for governing board members of Big Ten Conference institutions in response to a proposed $2.4 billion private equity deal that would spin off a new entity to house all leaguewide media rights and sponsorship deals. ACTA convened this webinar to address concerns raised by members of Big Ten governing boards who say they had received insufficient information to evaluate such a consequential proposal.
