Request an Interview Follow on Twitter/XBryan Paul, Ph.D., serves as ACTA's College Debates and Discourse (CD&D) Alliance Curricular Fellow. He drives CD&D curricular development and faculty engagement while supporting program implementation, research and assessment, and strategic communication and growth. As a key architect of the program's educational resources, he manages the CD&D Curricular Toolkit, collaborating with educators nationwide to integrate transformative civil discourse experiences into the classroom.
With a background spanning higher education and public relations, Dr. Paul is a bridge-builder who connects people and ideas. He joined ACTA in 2022 as the Director of Alumni Advocacy before transitioning to the CD&D team in 2024. He earned his Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Missouri, specializing in political communication. He also holds an M.A. in Professional Communication from Southern Utah University and a B.A. in Political Science from Brigham Young University.
When he isn't fostering healthier public discourse on campus, Dr. Paul enjoys reading, writing, cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs and BYU Cougars, participating in the performing arts, and traveling with his family.
