ACTA continued its longstanding efforts to bring positive, enduring change to the flawed system of higher education accreditation in an April 25, 2025, letter addressed to Secretary of Education Linda McMahon. ACTA’s letter observes that Congress alone can effect the changes to the Higher Education Act that will make accreditation a reliable guarantor of academic quality, intellectual diversity, and fiscal responsibility.
