Former U.S. Attorney General Edwin Meese III emphasized the trustee’s duty to ensure graduates are grounded in America’s history and civic principles. ACTA’s Bradley Jackson joined a Capitol Hill roundtable to advocate for legislative tools that safeguard campus free expression. Meanwhile, ACTA’s influence was felt at UNC–Chapel Hill, where a 2022 board retreat led by ACTA helped inspire the creation of a new School of Civic Life and Leadership. ACTA also received a major grant from the John Templeton Foundation to expand its national student debate program.
