The 2019 ATHENA Roundtable brought together over 100 leaders to address the declining value and rising cost of college, while ACTA’s national civics survey exposed alarming gaps in graduates’ knowledge of U.S. history and government. Wallace Hall received the Jerry L. Martin Prize for uncovering admissions corruption, and former Governor Tom Ridge led a seminar on protecting free expression on campus. Additional features include the launch of the new What Will They Learn? website, the 2019 Merrill Award honoring Judge José Cabranes, and a podcast with David Corey on intellectual humility.
