ACTA marked 25 Plus One years of reform with a celebration, featuring a presidential colloquy on higher ed’s future and honoring historian Dr. Gordon S. Wood with the Merrill Award. ACTA released the expanded No U.S. History? report, exposing the decline of U.S. history in college curricula, and hosted a webinar equipping trustees to address college spending. The King’s College joined our A-list in What Will They Learn?, and David Bruce Smith’s Abigail & John was digitized by WETA. We also recognized Professor Dorian Abbot as a Hero of Intellectual Freedom.
