ACTA Chief of Staff Armand Alacbay was appointed to the George Mason University Board of Visitors, bringing decades of governance expertise to his alma mater. ACTA’s recent surveys at Ohio State and UT–Austin reveal troubling trends of widespread student self-censorship and growing support for silencing campus speakers. In a major policy victory, Kansas passed the nation’s strongest donor intent law, empowering philanthropists to protect their gifts. ACTA also proudly recognized Dr. Carole Hooven as the 2023 Hero of Intellectual Freedom for her steadfast defense of academic truth at Harvard.
