ACTA is an independent, non-profit organization committed to academic freedom, excellence, and accountability at America's colleges and universities.
The 9th edition of What Will They Learn? shows that many college general education programs need serious improvement. Of over 1,100 colleges surveyed, more than half have deficient liberal arts curricula that can leave students without crucial knowledge they need to participate in the 21st century job market or engage in the political process.
New this year, ACTA partnered with Heterodox Academy to include more metrics of academic freedom to better inform students, parents, and trustees about this essential component of the liberal arts education. Find out if your college is living up to first principles HERE.
